- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Front desk staff was not very friendly. Then when Dr. draelos came in she stood a great distance from me like I had some contagious disease or something. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I went to Zoe Draelos once a year for a few years. I would have to schedule an appointment a month or more in advance. I was made to feel that she was a very busy doctor under tight time restraints, and I was not her priority. Their hours are Monday 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Tuesday and Wednesday 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, if I can recall. The staffs' customer service skills, on the phone and in person, leave much to be desired. I'm not sure what bubble I was trapped in that I never thought to visit another doctor's office. On my last visit, the doctor barely looked at my skin and informed me that the prescriptions she previously had me on were no longer covered by my insurance. I asked her about alternatives, and she informed me about the generic brands of the same drugs. I asked her if she thought they would work. She never really answered my questions, except to say that the generics had similar chemical components. She never suggested any other drugs. So, I took the generic prescriptions. After using the prescriptions for three weeks, I noticed my skin was terribly dry and my pimples intensified. A friend suggested another dermatology office. I made an appointment and was seen within the same week. They were able to prescribe my old prescriptions and offered me alternatives to my insurance coverage, so that I wouldn't have to pay drastically discounted price. They were tremendously friendly, personable and concerned. The entire office and the doctors there were a breath of fresh air compared to my experience with Zoe Draelos and her staff.
